Can Kanche Atleast Break-Even?

Despite knowing a fact that 20 Crores budget is meager for a film of ‘Kanche’ scale, hats off to Krish for wrapping such project within a stipulated time and money. Apparently, Mega camp hero Varun Tej is yet to establish a market of own and Krish is very much acknowledged about this reality before experimenting budget on him. Whatsoever money spent on ‘Kanche’ is purely meant to bring in an authentic flavor for World War episodes and Krish never had Varun or his potentiality in his mind.

Above all this, commercial viability is the key word describes stamina of a film. A movie might have got enormous critics applause and wonderful reviews but finally falling flat on nose by failing to recover the budget spent directly means it is tagged as a flop. Not just producers, even buyers who have risked their big money should also reap benefits.

If reports are to be believed, ‘Kanche’ definitely opened to positive response from patrons. However, this response is restricted only to few centers in selected regions. Especially, metro and A class audience along with Overseas public have adored ‘Kanche.’ What remains to be seen is, how good is this one section of viewers can take it to break-even mark?
