Mega Power Star Ram Charan's debut movie 'Chirutha' was released on 28 September, 2007 and completed eight years of its release on 28 September, 2015. As such, Ram Charan turned eight years as a hero in Tollywood. Incidentally, eight of his movies have been released so far which mark an average of one movie per year.
Ram Charan has achieved many things as a big star of Tollywood. He is the only hero to have been maintaining highest success percentage among the stars of his generation with 75% hit percentage. 'Orange' and 'Thoofan/ Zanjeer' were the utter flops in his career. Rest of the movies like 'Chiruha', 'Magadheera', 'Rachcha', 'Naayak', ' Yevadu' and 'Govindhudu Andarivadele' stood with the ranges industry hit to average grossers at the box office.
On the collections front, five of Ram Charan's movies have been placed in Rs.40 crores share club. Ram Charan's ninth film 'Bruce Lee - The Fighter' is gearing up for release on October 16. This movie is expected to increase the success rate of Ram Charan even more to that of the existing rate of success. Moreover, many records of Tollywood are expected to be broken with this movie.
