Credit Goes to Vishnu, Not Akhil!

Akkineni Akhil's debut movie 'Akhil' was thought that the first movie for any debut hero to have it's title as the name of the hero. However, as per the records, Manchu Vishnu's debut movie 'Vishnu' was the first movie to have its title as the name of the hero. Although the movie was failed at the box office, it could enter the records successfully due to the record mentioned above. 

'Akhil's shoot has been wrapped up recently. The movie's audio launch will be held at Gachibowli Indoor Stadium on Sunday night, on 20th of this month which falls on the birth anniversary of late ANR. 

Sayesha Saigal has teamed up with Akhil in the movie. Thaman and Anup Rubens have composed the music of the movie while senior musician Manisharma provided the background score of the movie. VV Vinayak has directed the movie on Shresht Movies, owned by Nithiin. The movie is readying for a grand release on October 21.
