Mahesh Ousts Samanta from ‘Brahmotsavam'!

Fresh speculation from film sources which although need a final reaction from PVP Cinema says that, Mahesh Babu rejected Samanta as first heroine in his yet to be started film ‘Brahmotsavam.’ The project to be directed by Srikant Addala of ‘SVSC’ fame has space for three heroines. From the day this flick is announced, there is ambiguity on who is the first heroine? Firstly, we have heard of Rakul Preet Singh selected and later unavailability of call sheets allowed Samanta to come in.

Now that Mahesh Babu is also a co-producer of film with PVP banner, here comes a report from inner source that Samanta is shown the exit gate calling in Rakul as the replacement. For this to happen, there need an adjustment in overall shooting schedules for which Mahesh Babu agreed. Though Mahesh and Sam are not in good terms from the times of ‘1 Nenokkadine’ teaser controversy, the same is not actual reason behind Sam’s exit.

Mahesh Babu is looking for a fresh chemistry to work-out on screen. As Mahesh and Sam is an old pairing, the chances of sprinkling new feel might be remote. Not to make ‘Brahmotsavam’ one more regular romantic film, Srikant Addala is convinced with Mahesh’s suggestion of pulling in Rakul at the cost of increasing work schedules. Let us wait for an official word from PVP or MB Entertainment?
