Problem for 'Baahubali 2's Release Date

'Baahubali-The Beginning's colossal success kindled great confidence among the makers of the movie. With rejuvenated energy, the team is set to start the balance talky part of 'Baahubali- The Conclusion' soon. 

Reports are that the makers are pondering to release the movie on January 8, 2016 as a Sankranthi gift to the audiences. As we know, 'Baahubali' is enjoying its solo run as there is no single movie in opposition. Although Prince Mahesh's 'Srimanthudu' was supposed to be released on July 17, may it be due to delay in post production or on the request of 'Baahubali's makers, the movie was postponed to August 7. With no option is left for audience to watch another movie, their choice of viewing a film is one and only 'Baahubali'. 

However, as far as the Sankranthi season of 2016 is concerned, 'Baahubali 2' is unlikely to get maximum screens as there will be many big movies slated for release in the same season. Power Star Pawan Kalyan's 'Gabbar Singh 2', Prince Mahesh's 'Brahmotsavam', Young Tiger NTR's 'Maa Naannaku Prematho' are readying for Sankranthi release. A couple of more big movies are also set for Pongal's release. As such, it would be a Herculean Task for 'Baahubali's makers to negotiate with all those filmmakers to get their movies postponed. No filmmaker sacrifices Sankrathi season's collections for any producer's sake. All in all, it appears that 'Baahubali-The Conclusion' may not get sufficient theaters in Sankranthi season as it got it for 'Baahubali- The Beginning'.
