Multi Crores Commission Deal for 'Bahubali'

For outsiders, cinema business isn’t a fair game. More than the risk in commercial mathematics, dishonesty or double crossing or unfaithfulness describes the real shade of film industry. However, there are good human beings like SS Rajamouli who is always ready with a helping hand for his close friends. The latest instance of ‘Bahubali’ business in Karnataka shows, how Jakkanna gave a financial aid to his friend cum producer Sai Korrapati.

Off late, Korrapati or what we say Bellary Sai is running in big losses with all his attempts in Tollywood. Apparently, this may not have disturbed his overall financial status but losses are meant to be recovered. When the release of ‘Bahubali’ and Karnataka rights came to discussion, whom would Rajamouli approach for? Obviously, it’s Sai the first choice.

According to inner trade reports, Bellary Sai first took ‘Bahubali’ Karnataka rights for a whopping 9 Crores and then sold the same at second level to R Srinivas (outright) for 18 Crores. This means, shifting the hand would have benefited Sai with 9 Crores. However, Sai is reported to have just accepted a commission of 20% of total deal which means pocketed 3.6 Crores without any risk paying the rest of 14.4 Crores to ARKA Media. This is a pretty good figure and attitude of Sai towards the friendship with Jakkanna is praiseworthy.
