Importance of Romance & Comedy for IHs

83 years of Tollywood's history witnessed 33 Industry Hits so far. These movies have been made in different genres such as mythological, fantasy entertainer, socio fantasies, patriotic, social and so on. One common factor which seems to be striking in these Industry Hits is that all the movies have been given much importance to either comedy or romance or both. Let's have an analysis with last five Industry Hits.

* KHUSHI( 2001): This movie was made as a romantic and comedy entertainer. Power Star Pawan Kalyan's terrific comedy with unbelievable timing was the highlight of this movie. His chemistry with Bhumika in romantic scenes was superb.

* INDRA( 2002): Although the movie was made as a faction entertainer, entire first half was highlighted with Megastar Chiranjeevi and Sonali Bendre's romance mixed comedy. Brahmanandam and AVS' comedy episode was also one of the highlights of the movie. 

* POKIRI( 2006)I: Prince Mahesh and Ileana's romance was the highlight of the movie. Mahesh's dialogues generate laughs in most of the scenes like 'Upma' episode. 

* MAGADHEERA( 2009): Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Kajal were shown as the best romantic couple in the movie. Although the movie was made as a socio fantasy entertainer, the romantic track between Ram Charan and Kajal in both generations( past and present) was very well carved by the director. 

* ATHARINTIKI DAREDI( 2013): This family and comedy entertainer has many hilarious moments in it. Pawan Kalyan, Brahmi, MS, Ali and many others generated good laughs in the movie. 

* Let's wait for one more industry hit soon that has a mix of all elements in it apart from comedy and romance.
