Rajamouli Changes His Inspiration for BB!

During the trailer launch of 'Baahubali' in Mumbai, Rajamouli revealed that epic Mahabharat was his inspiration for making 'Baahubali 1 & 2'. He also made it clear that another epic Ramayana was also his inspiration for making 'Baahubali'.

However, while talking a leading English daily, Rajamouli said popular comic book 'Amar Chitra Katha' was his inspiration. " Those comics, even today, transport me to those times. I have endless fantasies revolving around those stories set in the past. My excitement with that genre translates into my films," said Rajamouli.

Netigens, however, felt '300', 'Troi', 'Gladiator', 'Clifhanger' and 'Adavidonga' would have been 'Baahubali's inspiration. Meanwhile, 'Baahubali's audio launch is being planned on either 10th or 11th of this month. Prasad Devineni and Shobhu Yarlagadda have produced the movie on Arka Media Works.
