Ever since the trailer of 'Baahubali' has been out some of the observers have pointed out the war sequences and the VFX of the movie were inspired by Hollywood's top rated epic dramas like '300', 'Troy', 'Gladiator', 'Exodus' etc. However, some more analysts felt a part of the story has been inspired from 'Krish 2'. Hrithik Roshan, who is in the forest, enters the city to get his task fulfilled.
Interestingly, Prabhas' 'Shivudu' getup's story appears to have significant resemblances with Megastar Chiranjeevi's then super hit movie 'Adavi Donga'. As per the story Chiranjeevi is an uncivilized man( Tarzan) who lives in the forest. Sharadha comes to know that he is none other than her son. She then, teaches him everything for his enlightenment. In Omkaaram song it can be watched. The locations like waterfalls and hills in the forest, Chiranjeevi's learning in front of Shivalingam, are seen in 'Baahubali'.
However, Rajamouli has shown his command as a director with the trailer itself. As per experts of direction department, 77 shots have been nicely embedded in 2 minute trailer of 'Baahubali'. That's a phenomenal feat of Rajamouli. Way to go!
