Upsetting Mahesh Babu Family Image

The debate and deadlock on Mahesh Babu's new movie title still continues. Whether it is 'Srimanthudu' or 'Magadu' is yet to be unanswered. As this film is coming from Mahesh Babu after a couple of flops, right from title to the characterization of Mahesh, everything matters for public and especially Fans. So, direcor Koratala Siva and Mythri Movies banner producers aren't taking anything easily for granted. From an able writer, Koratala evolved as a powerful director with Prabhas 'Mirchi.' He then took a long gap before finding Mahesh Babu. 

'Mirchi' was a purest commercial mass entertainer with loads of action well mixed with beautiful romance and clean family emotions. Koratala should have surely followed the similar path in desinging Mahesh Babu. However, a title sounding something like 'Mirchi' could be a pleasing one for both class, mass and family audience. 

But, 'Srimanthudu' has a sense of class flavor while 'Magadu' lacks in originality. If 'Srimanthudu' can pull the attention of family audience for sure, 'Magadu' can be rocking with low class audience. As of now, there are confirmation reports on Mahesh and Koratala have decided to go with 'Magadu.' If such is the case, the initial impression one would get is the film to be high on action. This could possibly upset Mahesh's family man image. It is of course too early to draw an inference because there is still a dilemma.
