AP Government's Big Blow on Farmers!

This is a huge blow for farmers of AP who owned lands in capital area. The government issued G.O.No.166, which is meant to grab farmer's agricultural lands through 'Land Acquisition Act'. Till now, the government collected lands from farmers through land pooling. 

Since many farmers refused to give their lands,  the government seems to have decided to acquire farmers lands either by hook or by crook. The latest G.O. has been issued in support of the Union Government's 'Land Acquisition Act 2013'. The government will acquire the lands which yield two or three crops every year and it targeted to acquire 800 acres of land. District collector has been directed to acquire the lands from farmers. It remains to be seen whether the farmers fight against the latest G.O. or to succumb the monopoly and feudalistic acts of the government.
