No sooner had an English daily published an article alleging that Megastar Chiranjeevi's 150th project's story was a stolen script, than the news spread like a wildfire in social media. According to the cooked up story published by the daily, writer BVS Ravi who has provided the story for Chiranjeevi's 150th film , has allegedly stolen it from another writer named Vasu Dev Varma, an NRI.

The writer claimed that he prepared the story 'Okka Adugu' for veteran star Krishnam Raju. Since the story needs a bit of entertainment, the writer approached Gopi Mohan. Both of them have been discussing the story for the past six months. Since BVS Ravi is a good friend of Gopi Mohan, he took the main plot of the script for Chiranjeevi's 150th. As per the story line Chiranjeevi plays two roles in the movie one is pre independence era inspired by Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy and another , Auto Johnny. The freedom fighter character comes in flashback, and helps Auto Johnny change and be a people's leader.

Although the writer alleged somebody had stolen his thunder, there's no big deal of the story as it was seen in numerous movies. What matters is treatment of the movie. However, Gopi Mohan lashed out the alleged gossip against him. He tweeted, " A gossip news is circulating that i shared someone's story with @BvsRavi.It's a false news.Whoever it is,they can solve with Writers union."
