Will 'Lion' Break Flop Sentiment?

Many celebrities from Tollywood believe in sentiments. Some times they may postpone or prepone the release of their movies based on numerology. They make title changes believing the word of astrologers as well. When it comes to Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna's movies, sentiments play pivotal role. As most of Balakrishna's movies consisting the title 'Simha', went on blockbusters, the makers of his films prefer to induct 'Simha' word in his movies. His new movie's title 'Lion' is an English meaning of the Telugu word 'Simham'. 

As far as 'Lion' movie is concerned, one bad sentiment seems to be haunting now. As per this sentiment, no Balakrishna's movie has been declared a hit with new directors in the past two decades. 

Balakrishna's 'Vijayendra Varma' directed by debutant Swarna Subbarao got disaster result at the box office. Similar is the case with debutant director Mahadev's 'Mithrudu' and Sekhar's 'Uu Kodathara Ulikki Padathara'. That's why some of the fans got embarrassed about the result of 'Lion', as the movie was directed by new director Satyadeva. Most of the fans, however, believe that Balakrishna will break the sentiment this time making the movie a blockbuster and they cited another sentiment 'Lion' factor for the movie's victory.
