'Dohchay' First Day Talk

Naga Chaitanya's 'Dohchay' hit the screens on 24th of April across the globe in 800 odd screens. The movie is said to have a couple of twists and turns. Naga Chaitanya looked decent and his performance was apt to the theme. Kriti Sanon was tall but appeals to a fewer sections. Brahmanandam's comedy was major highlight and one of the strengths of the movie. First half of the movie was said to be ok and the last half an hour's hilarious comedy was well shot. Bullet Babu's episode and chase scene were superb. Cinematography and production values were good.

On the flip side, songs in the movie were a big let down though the background score was good. 'Dohchay' title song was an interesting composition but was heard in bits. Flashback episode of the movie does not attract anyone. Sudheer Varma once again came up good direction after 'Swamy Raa Raa' but the story appeared scribbled at times. 

The movie has mostly been targeted to A centers audiences. The movie was opened with mixed reports at the end of its morning shows on the first day of the release. The movie's fate depends on how well multiplex audiences embrace the movie and how far the movie reaches to B and C centers audiences.
