Parties to Follow Rules for Bharat Ratna

Every now and then, some of the political parties in India raise the demands seeking 'Bharat Ratna' award to the heads of their political parties. There is nothing wrong in their demands as they benefit politically to the core. However, some basic rules must be observed before conferring India's highest civilian honour. There are many 'Do's' and 'Don'ts' to be observed by the people who seek the award and are listed below.

* The candidates should not be emotional. Especially, he should not be short tempered. 

* They should not be indulged in dictatorship in their administration. Instead, they should follow democratic ways to take crucial political and administrative decisions. Foolish decisions which are strictly against to people's welfare shall not be entertained for 'Bharat Ratna'. 

* He should not be caste and religion biased.

* His personal and family life should be clean and it must be an inspiration to the people.
