TDP MLC's Humiliating Defeat in 'EG-WG'

Here is a super stroke for the ruling Tdp in East and West Godavari Teacher's MLC constituency. KVV Satyanarayana Raju( Chaitanya Raju), whose victory was supposed to be a cake walk in the elections, has been lost to Ramu Suryarao of United Teachers' Federation's( UTF) candidate in teachers' MLC polls. Prior to the elections, deputy CM Nimmakayala Chinarajappa and a few more ministers campaigned for the victory of Tdp's candidate quite aggressively. Speculations were also rife that the Tdp's candidate distributed six silver glasses each for every teacher, worth Rs.5000 in the constituency. However, UTF candidate has finally got the victory with the support of teachers and lecturers in the constituency. These results are said to be a major setback for the Tdp. 

However, Tdp's teacher MLC candidate Ramakrishna from Krishna-Guntur constituency has got resounding victory by defeating PDF candidate in the constituency.
