Nani is a talented hero. He banked on success of ‘Eega’ to gain big offers in a row. More than as a hero, Nani succeeded in winning appreciations of audience and good following as a performing artist. Problem lied with his selection of scripts and directors damaging his market step by step. Whatsoever, ‘Yevade Subramanyam’ and ‘Jenda Pai Kapiraju’ are declared as commercial flops for experimenting on non-commercial concepts, yet reviews and reports did not undermine the efforts of Nani in portraying the roles.
At a time when Nani has to balance these wrong credits by securing a decent commercial hit, his pairing with Maruthi left critics in a big shock. As we all know, Maruthi is branded for low budget youthful entertainers filled with double meaning concepts and dialogues. The straight and genuine attempt of ‘Koththa Janta’ misfired putting Maruthi’s credibility at question. Now, Nani joining such director might further deteriorate the actor’s image.
