'1' n 'I'; Same Titles, Same Season, Same Fate?

Prince Mahesh's '1' and director Shankar's 'I' titles look similar though they represent a number and an alphabet. Mahesh's '1' released during Sankranthi season last year. Having been made with huge budget of Rs.60+ crores, the movie accumulated just Rs.29 crores in its full run and tasted disaster result at the box office.

Co-incidentally, Shankar's 'I' was also released Sankranthi season of this year. The movie was also made with a sky high budget. On the first day of its release the movie got mixed responses. Is the fate of the movie gong to be like Mahesh's '1' or will it keep the cash registers ringing and turn out to be the blockbuster? We need to wait for few more days to know the exact status of the movie.
