Thousands of romantic films have been made so far in tollywood. But only a few stand eternal and K Balachander's 'Maro Charithra' stands among the best of the bests. A Tamil boy falls in love with a Telugu girl( Saritha) and their romance is expected to on a happy finish. However, the director showed his shocking creativity in the climax of the movie. No one could expect that the movie ends in such a tragic note. Perhaps, this unexpected finished led the movie creating history at the box office. Not only 'Maro Charithra' but also many of Balachander's movies end up as tragedies.
