Kaka Venkataswamy Is No More

Congress Party's senior leader and ex-union minister Geddam Venkataswamy aka Kaka breathed his after severe illness at Care Hospitals, Hyderabad. He is survived by two sons and three daughters. Both his sons Gaddam Vinod, former MLA and Gaddam Vivekananda, is an MP from Peddapalli. Born on 5 October, 1929, Kaka became the freedom fighter during struggle for Indian independence. He was first elected for AP assembly in 1957 while in 1967 he got elected as an MP. The Telangana CM expressed his deep condolences on the demise of the veteran political leader and announced Kaka's last rites would be performed with all the state honours.
