The prime minister Narendra Modi visited the cyclone hit Vizag area recently. The AP CM, Chandrababu Naidu received him at the airport. No sooner had the PM got down from the plane than Chandrababu took a bow to him, as a token of respect on the PM. There is nothing wrong in CBN's gesture here. But then, CBN's critics lashed him out asking the question, 'What happened to his Telugu aathma gouravam' and why hadn't he shaken hands to Modi in an attention position instead of bowing down?
In fact, TDP is a different party than all the existing political parties. Right from the launch of the party itself, it was projected as 'Telugu Aathma Gouravam' party' and the party's heads decided to go against the Delhi's rule. But CBN's 'bow down' of Modi will definitely irritate the party's activists. And now, the party has no rights to criticize other political parties' leaders supporting the Congress party and its leaders like Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.
Unfortunately, even though CBN showed his loyalties at the core on the PM, the latter assured just Rs.1000 crores as a relief grant to the cyclone victims in return of 60,000 crores total loss of cyclone.
