Mahanati Savitri and All India glamorous queen Sridevi are the two all time best heroines of tollywood. Although they occupied similar status in tollywood as Number One Heroines, their paths and approach are different in attaining their goals. Checkout the following analysis on them.

SAVITRI: Having been made her debut in a small role in 'Samsaram' in 1950, she soon made indelible imprints with Telugu cine lovers with the master pieces, 'Devadasu', 'Mayabazar', 'Missamma', 'Gundamma Katha', 'Mooga Manasulu', 'Manchi Manasulu', 'Devatha, 'Arthangi' etc. She was mostly seen opposite to ANR and NTR. Especially, ANR and Savitri's was a super hit combo. Savitri used to exhibit all kinds of expressions through her eyes and scarcely do we see such a great actress world wide. With her dignified and decent attires, Savitri turned synonym for a conservative woman of Telugu land.

SRIDEVI: Unlike Savitri, Sridevi shot to fame with her glamorous looks. She too was a born actress like Savitri. She played various roles as a child artist and had an opportunity to enact with NTR and ANR in her childhood itself. With her dazzling looks, she established herself as the most glamorous heroine among all others in her era. Eventually, she made her debut in bollywood and became an all India number one heroine for a couple of years. As such, Sridevi made Telugu people proud with her inspiring escalation in her profession.
