Mahesh's Nandi Awards 3 or 6?

Two days ago, a leading Telugu daily reported that Prince Mahesh Babu won 6 Nandi awards. And today, a 'Merugaina Samajam' channel too, reported that Mahesh won 6 Nandi awards. Those who followed this program have understood that Mahesh had won 6 Nandi best actor awards. In fact, Mahesh won only 3 Nandi best actor awards. Other three awards were just 'Nandi Special Jury Awards', but not the best actor awards. Besides, Mahesh won best male debut award too.

However, Natabhushan Sobhan Babu and Victory Venkatesh's fans are angry with the above media for revealing confusing news on Mahesh's awards. They said, their heroes won 5 Nandi awards each for their best performances and which is the highest number in Nandi 'Best Actor' awards category. 

On the other hand, some of the mega fans started claiming Ram Charan and Allu Arjun have won two Nandi awards each. It is a known news that Allu Arjun won 'Nandi Special Jury Awards' for 'Arya and 'Parugu', while Ram Charan won the special jury awards for 'Chirutha' and 'Magadheera'. 'If Mahesh's 6 Nandi awards are to be believed, our heroes' 2 Nandi awards each, must also be believed," says a mega fan.

Meanwhile, analysts say, it is a common practice mentioning 'best actor' awards of the heroes in the media and ignoring other category of awards. Looks like, the tradition has been changed to promote the actors mentioning all categories of awards received by them.
