The Telugu Desham Party's head, Nara Chandrababu Naidu swore in as the first Chief Minister of residual Andhra Pradesh on Sunday at 7:27pm on 8th of June. CBN's cabinet is included with 19 ministers and they have also taken oath as ministers. Nimmakayala Chinarajappa and KE Krishnamurthy will act as Deputy Chief Ministers.
Mr Naidu, aged at 64, has the huge experience as a politician. He was elected as an MLA from Chandragiri constituency on behalf of the congress party in the year 1978 and was roped in as the technical education and cinematography minister in T.Anjayya's government. He was later defeated by a TDP's candidate in Chandragiri in 1983 and joined the TDP in the same year. He was elected the general secretary of the TDP in the year, 1984. Later, he won as an MLA from Kuppam constituency in the years 1989 and 1994 respectively. Chandrababu Naidu rendered his services as the CM of the united Andhra Pradesh between 1995 and 2004 for nine long years. This was an all time record among the chief ministers. Seemandha people have pinned their hopes on Chandrababu Naidu for the development of the state.
