It was due to state's bifurcation, the governor's rule was imposed on the state and it obstructed the developmental programs in Telangana and the Andhra Pradesh. Although the election results were out on 16th of May, the political parties had to be waited till June 2, the appointed day of both the states, to form the governments. The Chief Minister of Telangana state, KCR wasted no time and swore in as the CM, on the appointed day itself. Thus he got an opportunity to serve for the new state from the first day of its formation.
The TDP's head, Chandrababu Naidu, who was supposed to swear in as the CM on 2nd of June, has depended on the almanacs and muhurtham for the swearing in ceremony. As such, the muhurtham of swearing in ceremony has been confirmed as 8th of June. Obviously, seven valuable days have been wasted for the development of the state. Instead of giving the statements like he would work for day and night to make AP as Singapore, CBN should have joined the duties on 2nd June itself.
