According to this, if any superstar hero gives an utter flop movie, the fans and the analysts defend the star as the best performer and showed amazing Performance in that flop movie. They flatter him in such a way, as if he was another Kamal Haasan. Of course, image and charisma among the people are concerned, Rajinikanth is bigger than Kamal Haasan. 

Incidentally, above said people go on criticisms on those star heroes, who deliver super hits at the box office, as poor performers. Digging into the facts, it is learnt that above people don't like the domination of those young heroes who dominate the box office with their record breaking hits.
