Hero Allu Sirish's second venture 'Kotha Janta', despite its mediocre talk and below average ratings, is doing well at the box office. According to the trade sources, the movie has turned out to be safe venture for the makers within one week of its release. The movie has reportedly collected a share of Rs.4.50 crores for 8 days which include Nizam-1.44 cr., Ceded-0.56 cr., Andhra-2.20 cr., and in other areas the movie collected Rs.0.30 crores.
The makers have reportedly shelled in Rs.5.5 crores while they spent Rs.0.75 cr., for publicity. The movie's satellite rights were sold out to Rs.2 crores. As of now, the makers bagged Rs.6.5 crores including satellite rights of the movie.Except Krishna,Vizag, Guntur and Nellore, the movie has been released own by the makers. In the above said areas the distributors are likely get profits at the end of its full run.
