It is a known news that top character artist Prakash Raj was unnecessarily indulged in a controversy on the sets of Prince Mahesh's 'Aagadu'. Subsequently, a complaint was lodged on Prakash Raj by the assistant director of 'Aagadu' in director's association. The controversy took another turn when Prakash Raj arranged a press meet and threw criticisms on Srinu Vaitla indirectly. At one stage, Prakash Raj was expected to be banned from tollywood.

Finally, the tiffs between Prakash Raj and 'Aagadu's director and assistant director were ended peacefully. Senior producers like NV Prasad made the issue getting solved peacefully. Prakash Raj had reportedly said 'sorry' to the assistant director while he along with Srinu Vaitla would be paying Rs. 5 lakhs each to the makers. As the makers lost Rs.10 lakhs for the cancellation of the shoot on the day of quarrel, the actor and the director accepted to pay the amount to the makers.
