On one hand, union minister Chiranjeevi has got the seniority of six years as a politician. On the other hand, Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna entered active Politics today, by filing his nomination as an MLA candidate from Hindupur constituency. Obviously, it would be not fair to compare both of them in Politics. However, there are some people, who already started analyzing the political moves of both these biggies.Let's look into their political steps.
* CHIRANJEEVI: Chiranjeevi, through his own political party, Prajarajyam, took on two very big political parties in the general elections, 2009. In spite of facing those big political parties, Chiranjeevi's party emerged as the third biggest political party of the state with 70 lakhs votes and 18 MLA seats. Later, Chiranjeevi merged his party into the congress. He then held the responsibilities as an MP of Rajyasabha and eventually, became the union minister of tourism with an independent charge. Chiranjeevi has become the only politician from tollywood, who held the responsibilities as union minister with independent charge. Currently, Chiranjeevi has occupied the place of number one politician of the Congress party in Seemandhra. He is discharging the duties as the Chairman of the election campaigning committee. As Chiranjeevi is likely to be as an active politician for two to three more decades, he may occupy many respectable and responsible positions as a politician in the future.
* BALAKRISHNA: Although Balakrishna made an official political entry today, he is considered to be the born politician, since his father late NTR was one of the good politicians of Andhra Pradesh. Unlike Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna has not dared launching a new political party. It appears victory for him is a cake walk in the elections. As Balakrishna is contesting from the lucky constituency of Nandamuri Vamsham and also the TDP appears to have good omens, he might win from Hindupur with a good lead. However, unlike Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna has not completely left movies. So, he may not be considered full time politician for now. It is now interesting to see if Balayya turns out to be the full fledged politician in the future or not. Moreover, it remains to be seen what crucial positions in the party would be held by Balayya in future.
