It is a known news that union minister Chiranjeevi campaigned for the victory of Congress party in 2013 during the general elections of Karnataka. Chiranjeevi also predicted the Congress party would win more than 120 assembly seats in the elections. Finally, Chiranjeevi's predictions were proved right and the Congress party won in 121 assembly seats and formed the government with full majority. According to the reports, Congress won maximum number of seats in the places where Chiranjeevi's campaigning was done.

Chiranjeevi campained in the places such as Yelahanka, Chikballapur,Bagepalli and Gouribidanur today. The congress party's local leaders are hoping that Chiranjeevi's campaigning would yield fruitful results as in the case of 2013 general elections.
