The official sources from union home ministry have confirmed the 'Appointed Day' for both residual Andhra Pradesh and Telangana state as 2nd of June, 2014. As the election procedure is expected to be completed by the third week of May, two governments in both the states are expected to be formed.
Ever since the decision of CWC for dividing the state, there have been agitations from Seemandhra region seeking the state united. However, the congress high command did not take their decision back and proceeded further. Recently, the Telangana bill was approved by both the houses of Parliament and subsequently, the president of India has also approved the T-bill.
