Director Confirms Nayanathara as Old

South Indian heroes despite entering into their fifties and sixties of age are still young and handsome while heroines who are still into their early thirties are considered as old and outdated. Of course, glamour is the most needed ingredient to run in movie business and producers, directors always search for new female faces. But, film maker Maruthi’s recent statements on Nayanathara being rated as ‘Old and Aged’ shows the kind of approach today’s film makers have towards heroines.

The news is about Maruthi’s new movie ‘Radha’ where in Venkatesh is likely to play the hero and the name of Nayan is rounded by media for heroine. Immediately, Maruthi condemned the gossip saying that what he needs is a young and cute girl but not an old and aged beauty like Nayanathara. Surely, Maruthi could have quoted a different reason without hurting the Nayan admirers.
