Tollywood's top six highest grossers of this year are 'Atharintiki Daredi', 'Naayak', 'Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu', 'Mirchi', 'Baadshah' and 'Iddarammayilatho'. There are no doubts with the statuses of 'AD' and 'IA' as the movies stood at first and sixth places having a clear difference of collections with the other movies. However, it is learnt that some of the movie buffs have got no clarity on the collections of other Four Movies, as media sources are giving inconsistent positions to those movies. Let's try to know the exact statuses of those movies at the box office.
* NAAYAK: This movie ran well in all areas except Overseas and thus proved to be the blockbuster. The makers have shelled in Rs.35 crores on this project. Indo Asian News Service( IANS) in its article 'Disappointing First Quarter for Southern Box Office' revealed that 'Naayak' raked in the collections of Rs.60 crores, and the info to them was given by distributors. The movie collected a share of Rs.52.18 crores in Telugu version, while it was Rs.2 crores in its Malayalam version.
* SVSC: According to IANS, the movie was made of Rs.45 crores and collected Rs.50 crores. Dil Raju, himself revealed the collections to IANS. As per trade, 'SVSC' collected Rs.51.93 crores and stood at next after 'Naayak'. During his visit of Rajahmundry for the movie's promotion, Dil Raju admitted that 'Bommarillu' was still on top among his movies based on the profits.
* MIRCHI: A common distributor of 'Naayak' and 'Mirchi' revealed that 'Mirchi' collected Rs.45 crores in its full run and stood as the blockbuster. The makers invested Rs.30 crores on this project. As per trade sources, the movie collected a share of Rs.45.23 crores.
* BAADSHAH: Although the movie was succeeded in collecting Rs.45.08 crores in its full run, it could not get break even in some of the areas. For instance, the movie collected Rs.1.86 crores share in West Godavari, which is less than the expected share. Here, other blockbusters such as 'Naayak', 'SVSC' and 'Mirchi' collected Rs.3.19 cr., Rs.2.88 cr., and Rs.2.60 cr. respectively. Yet, the movie showcased the stamina of Jr.NTR as it collected quite well despite its mixed talk among the audiences.
