Any Takers for Mohan Babu's Plead?

Collection King Mohan Babu wrote a letter to the Film Chamber of Commerce appealing to postpone the 'Centenary Celebrations of Indian Cinema' to be held from 21st September  to 24th September in Chennai. He mentioned that the people of both the regions of the state are shedding tears due to ongoing political unrest. So, it is not fair for celebrating film functions at this critical situation. 

However, there have been big arrangements and  preparations for these celebrations for a long while. So, the postponement of the celebrations would fetch heavy losses to the organizers. Moreover, Mohan Babu's appeal appears to be politically motivated but not comes out of his heart.
