That Media's Mistake on Union Ministers Resign?

As and when AP NGOs met Union Ministers and demanded their resignations, some of the TV channels expressed over enthusiasm on that news. A top channel reported that the central ministers would be attending for an urgent meet on that night and would submit their resignations to Sonia Gandhi the next day. Also, the news was scrolled in the channel for hundreds of times. 

However, nothing of that sort as reported by the channel, till now, happened. But then, why the channel and a few newspapers gave that false news? " It is a big surprise how that media thought the Union Ministers would be threatened by just a meeting with AP NGOs? The Union Ministers know what to do and what not to do. Even if they resign, they seek the  credit would be attributed to themselves but not AP NGOs or others. Anyways, that media might have felt ashamed for reporting false news," opined some of the analysts.
