Ever since the people of Seemandhra region have started their protests seeking the state united, one big demand from them has been heard frequently and that is the resignations of MLAs, MPs and ministers. This protest turned out to be a bless in disguise for some of the politicians as they started resigning to their positions. Many reasons are being heard for their resignations. Since they have already completed 4+ years of their tenure, they want a better mileage for next general elections. They can get sympathy free of cost from the agitators, through their resignations. It is also heard that this is the game plan of the Congress Party's high command, as they deliberately asked the politicians to submit their resignations. With this gesture, the Congress might win a couple of seats in next elections. Strangely, many people turn out to be innocent as they could not understand the strategies of the politicians.
However, the Union Minister Chiranjeevi and a few others are not responding to these protests, as they have understood it is useless submitting their resignations. Instead, they can fight at Delhi level to change the mind set of the high command regarding the state's division. Moreover, they thought it is not fair on their part to go commercial tendering their resignations to gain political mileage.
