Some days ago, Power Star Pawan Kalyan's 'Atharintiki Daredi' satellite rights were sold out to Rs.9 crores and it was an all time record. This news was unofficially revealed by the makers of the movie then. Recently, we heard that Prince Mahesh Babu's '1-Nenokkadine' movie's satellite rights were sold out to a record price. Inside sources say it was sold out to Rs.12.5 crores to Sunnet Work( Gemini TV). Since there is a huge gap of prices between the satellite rights of 'AD' and '1', some of the movie buffs are suspecting if this record is genuine or fake.
Meanwhile, inside sources made it clear that Rs.12.5 crores is a package deal which includes '1' Telugu version, Tamil version and 'Dookudu' Tamil movie. "But then, how can we treat this as a record? If the makers give the perfect breakup of the movie's rights, everybody believes that '1' really creates all time record in satellite rights. Else, this package deal cannot be compared to other Telugu movies' satellite records," say some of the film analysts.
