'Sholay' Makers Greed on 'GS-2'?

'Gabbar Singh' was one of the key characters of the bollywood classic 'Sholay'. Bandla Ganesh has bought the title rights of 'Gabbar Singh' from the makers of 'Sholay' for Rs.25 lakhs then. It is a known news that the sequel of 'Gabbar Singh' is being planned in the direction of Sampath Nandi with Power Star Pawan Kalyan as the hero. When the makers have approached the makers of 'Sholay' for the title's rights, they have reportedly demanded Rs.3 to Rs.4 crores to sell the rights for 'Gabbar Singh-2'. However, the makers of this sequel have given shock to to 'Sholay' makers, as they decided to change the title of the movie. Likely, the movie's title would be 'Bengal Tiger'.

Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan's upcoming film 'Atharintiki Daredi' is planned for release on 7th August across the globe. Dusky beauty Samantha and Pranitha have done opposite to Pawan Kalyan in this movie. Directed by Trivikram the movie was produced by BVSN Prasad on Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra.
