Mega Power Star Ram Charan's 'Naayak' and Victory Venkatesh and Prince Mahesh Babu's 'Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu' were released on 9th and 11th January respectively. Since 'Naayak' was released at first, it took the initial advantage by getting more number of theaters for release. Ultimately, 'Naayak' collected Rs.9.49 crores share on the first day in AP, while 'SVSC' managed to collect just Rs.6.78 crores.
And now, Ram Charan's 'Yevadu' is competing with Power Star Pawan Kalyan's 'Atharintiki Daredi'. This time also, Ram Charan has got an opportunity to get his movie released first. Some of the mega fans are suspecting if 'AD' gets less number of theaters due to 'Yevadu'. As per the trade sources, 'Yevadu' is likely to be released between 850 and 1000 screens in AP alone. Obviously it may collect an all time record share for the first day and the first week are concerned. In its second week also, 'Yevadu' might run in 400+ theaters quite easily. Mega fans are expecting that by the time of 'AD's release, hit films like 'Balupu' and 'Singam' and half of the theaters of 'Yevadu' vacate the space for 'AD' and so the movie gets sufficient number of theaters. Anyways, maximum gap between 'Yevadu' and 'AD' will be more advantageous to 'AD'. Finally, those fans who wish 'AD's record collections are hoping that 'Yevadu' would release for 27th of this month instead of 31st.
