Karthi Lives upto the Title

Post the good runs of 'Yuganiki Okkadu, Awara and Naa Peru Shiva,' definitely Tamil hero Karthi proved to be a tough competitor for our Telugu heroes. There were times when Bellamkonda Suresh threatened the big tickets arriving directly in Telugu with the dubbing films of Karthi. Now, there is a change in the situation with dud results of 'Sakuni' and 'Bad Boy.' As per the trade reports flowing in, the fresh release of 'Bad Boy' which is the Telugu version to native 'Alex Pandiyan' with Anushka as heroine is sleeping at Tollywood BO.

On one side if critics rated the movie as below average, due to shortage of mass action films in the market there were good openings witnessed for 'Bad Boy' with Multi Dimension film distributors offering a big theatre count. Reports say of 'Bad Boy' did not perform upto the expectation levels on the weekend due to 'Swamy Rara' taking the drivers seat. So, Karthi seems to have lived up to the movie title.
