Director Meher Ramesh has become synonymous with over-budgets and lavish shooting schedules in diverse locations. May it be, Prabhas starrer 'Billa' or Junior NTR's 'Shakti,' finally producers beared the brunt for high style and low substance in Meher's taking. Looks like, the director is finding it tough to come out of his natural comfort zone even for new release of 'Shadow.' As per media reports, producers are worried on how to recover their budget because Rs.32+ Crores of investment on 'Shadow' is high on all the calculations.
With big bunch of star releases planned in next two months, 'Shadow' competing with each of them would be a much more distressing factor for makers. Apparently, distributors cannot completely rely on brands of either Meher or Venky. So, pre-release business would decide the actual fate of movie. In order to attract distributors and exhibitors, audio release should be planned innovative because movie is postponed more than once and they will have their own share of doubts.
