Chiru Behind Warangal's Rare Honour?

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization( UNESCO) declared Warangal as the World Heritage City. It's a rare and prestigious honour to the city. It is a known thing that the city is of the historical importance through its 1000 pillar temple, Ramappa Gudi etc. Being a world heritage city, the city will get crores of rupees for the development of tourism in this area.

Having sworn in as a tourism minister, Chiranjeevi released Rs.25 lakhs for the city for the conduct of Kakathiya festival. Thereafter, Chiranjeevi has reportedly tried to get the world heritage status to the city, and finally his attempts went on fruitful. "This is one of the best achievements of Chiranjeevi under his regime", say the political analysts. We have to wait and see how well Chiru does his best for the development of tourism in other cities of the state.
