Film director Bapu hospitalized

Popular film director Bapu was admitted to a corporate hospital here on Sunday after he complained of uneasiness.

Sattiraju Lakshmi Narayana, popularly known as Bapu, was hospitalized following uneasiness. He has recovered and is likely to be discharged.

Bapu, who was conferred Padma Sri only yesterday, has shown signs of illness. His close companion and friend Mullapudi Venkataramana had recently passed away. The duo is known for their friendship and stands a shining example for friendship.

Bapu-Ramana combination has brought out many successful films starting with Sakshi till the latest Sr Rama Rajyam.

In between they made some stunning films like Seetha Kalyanam, Sampurna Ramayanam, Mutyala Muggu, Pelli Pusthakam and Sneham.
