Chiru the 'CG' of Allu Award Function

One of the all time great comedy artists, Padmasri Allu Ramalingaiah Award function will be held on 1st October, 2012 at 6pm in Priyadarshini Auditorium, Public Gardens, Hyderabad. Megastar Chiranjeevi will be the Chief Guest of this function. As of now, many eminent personalities such as Padmanabham, K.Viswanadh, EVV Satyanarayana, Kaikala Satyanarayana etc. have received this prestigious award. 

Allu Ramalingaiah, the legendary actor made his debut to tollywood through 'Puttillu', which was released in the year, 1953. Thereafter, he acted in 1016 movies and it was a big record for any actor of tollywood. He received Padma Sri Award by the Government of India in the year, 1990. Also, he received prestigious Raghupathi Venkaiah Award. His son Allu Aravind settled as the mega producer of  tollywood while his son-in-law, Chiranjeevi became the Megastar of tollywood. Allu breath his last on 31st July, 2004.
