Chiru's GOD Character Still Unbeaten

Among the contemporary star heroes of Chiranjeevi's generation, Nagarjuna and Balakrishna played the roles of gods in a few movies along with Chiranjeevi. And the details of the heroes and the 'god' characters played by those heroes are as follows.

Chiranjeevi: Chiranjeevi's 'Sri Manjunadha' was released in the year, 2001. Chiranjeevi played the role of lord Shiva in this movie. Though this movie couldn't be a resounding hit at the box office, it had proved to be an average grosser at the box office and moreover, the movie was a decent hit in Kannada. The movie ran hundred days directly in Kakinada and Vizag. Among the movies of his contemporary heroes, Chiranjeevi's 'Sri Manjunadha' still tops( based on collections and success status) in the sense, where heroes played only 'God' roles but not devotees. 

BALAKRISHNA: Balakrishna's 'Srikrishnarjuna Vijayam' and 'Pandurangadu' could not score hits at the box office. His 'Sriramarajyam' received great accolades from the critics. 

NAGARJUNA: Nagarjuna's 'Annamayya' and 'Sri Ramadasu' were proved to be super hits where the hero played the roles of devotees. However, his latest offering 'Shirdi Sai' is getting lukewarm response at the box office. Nagarjuna played the role of a 'God(Shirdi Sai) in this movie.
