Bhagya Lakshmi's Costly 'Balupu'

One can definitely call the character of Bhagya Lakshmi in ‘Gabbar Singh’ as a turning point in the South career of Shruti Hasan. Till the happening of ‘Gabbar Singh,’ the awesome beauty was regarded as an iron leg with continuous flops. Now, the movie being a BO blockbuster she directly jumped into Bollywood to do a project with Prabhu Deva. Of course, Shruti is clever not to miss her chances in Telugu.

Reports from film circles say that, after rejecting Bunny and Puri Jagannath’s proposal of ‘Iddaru Ammayilatho,’ now Shruti is on the verge of signing a new film besides Raviteja which is tentatively titled as ‘Balupu’ in the direction of Gopichand Malineni. In continuation, this will also become the highest remuneration earning film for Shruti because makers are offering Rs.1 Crore. Let us see, how far this costly ‘Balupu’ will help the makers in over all business of film?
