Thammareddy Bharadwaj's new panel was elected with a thumping majority in A.P.Film Chamber's first ever elections, which were held on 29th July, 2012. In fact, they were elected with a purpose on breaking the monopoly of theater lease system, which is being run by some of the big producers of the state. Let us have a look on this body formation and their future moves.

* HOW AND WHY WAS THE PANEL WON?: Small budget producers and their supporters are more in number than the big budget film makers. Obviously, most of the small budget movie makers voted against the big budget movie makers and subsequently, there was a mind boggling majority to Thammareddy's panel, the supporters of small budget movie makers.

* WHAT CAN THAMMAREDDY'S PANEL ACHIEVE IN FUTURE?: They try to solve the problems being faced by the producers from the technicians and actors. They may give proper advises and guidance to the budget movie makers. They try to control the remunerations hike by the actors so that the budget of the small budget makers will be in their limits.

* WHAT CANNOT BE ACHIEVED BY THE PANEL?: As per the reports, it is learnt that all the distributors and exhibitors of the state unanimously supported the big producers in the elections. They are arguing that Thammareddy's panel got the victory due to the factor that more votes were poled by the small budget movie makers and almost 80% of them are not making any movies now and most of them were retired from making movies. Some of them are not making movies regularly including Thammareddy Bharadwaj. Moreover, without the consent of distributors and exhibitors, no decision on films releases can be taken. Earlier, some of the industry bigwigs tried to impose a ban on dubbing flicks. However, it was not worked out as the exhibitors of the state rejected that decision by those industry biggies. "Here after, if any decision is taken by the panel against the exhibitors, distributors and big budget movie makers of the state, that will not be worked out as it was done in the case of ban on dubbing flicks." says one of the trade sources.
