Does Ram Gopal Varma not know even basics of the trade of the Telugu cinema? His latest tweet about Rajamouli's 'Eega' is generating these doubts among many people. As per his tweet, Ram Gopal Varma said 'Eega' movie will collect a share of Rs.100 crores in Telugu version of the movie alone. If he said the movie would collect Rs.100 crores in all the languages, his statement would have been quite apt. Currently, it appears that he exaggerated the 'share' figure of 'Eega'.
If we have a look at the previous top grossers of tollywood, 'Magadheera' collected a share of Rs.78 crores in Telugu version alone. Pawan Kalyan's 'Gabbar Singh' is also likely to cross the mark of Rs.70 crores. So, if 'Eega' wants to get Rs.100 crores share, it has to collect Rs. 20 crores to 30 crores share more than the above two movies. Meanwhile, 'Magadheera' and 'Gabbar Singh' collected those shares only due to the overflow of repeat audiences. Can 'Eega' create the same magic at the box office. If it is so, really it can be considered as a miracle at the box office and let us hope the miracle be happened.
