Chiru Vs Censor Board @ 'Rachcha'

In recent times, Censor Board is going through severe allegations on failing to checkmate the objectionable content. Certification for upcoming mega venture ‘Rachcha’ is again in news due to confrontation between Chiranjeevi and regional Censor Officer Dhana Lakshmi. Reports say, Chiru tried to exert political pressure on Dhana Lakshmi who wasn’t ready to go for Certification until Producers accepted the 13-14 cuts which include double meaning dialogues and blood soaked heavy action scenes.

‘We just followed the rule book. When producers insisted for U/A Certificate, automatically we imposed cuts to control the obscene, double meaning and offensive action scenes to make sure that even children could watch the film. If they have called for A Certificate, we won’t have any objections,’ said Dhana Lakshmi while producer NV Prasad cleared off the rumors stating, ‘No issues with Censor as we are happy with U/A Certificate and going ahead for April 5th release.’ So, just wait for less than 24 hours to see what this ‘Rachcha’ is all about.
