The PRP's defeat in the elections and merging of the party into the Congress Party has been the faded out matter now. And it is not anyway the hot topic of the state now. As per the estimations, 75% of the PRP cadre shifted the party even before the merger. And the balance number of the cadre have almost shifted into different political parties after the PRP's merger into the Congress. Even if anybody criticizes Chiranjeevi for merging his party into the Congress, it has to be understood that the person is looking for some political benefits. 

As per mega fans, one channel in the state continuously slings mud on Chiranjeevi and his family members moves both in politics as well as in movies. "To prove our argument right, today, on 2nd April, the channel is telecasting a program at 9.30 pm which is exclusively meant to sling mud on Chiru for having merged his party into the Congress Party. The topic of this program is PRP's merger into Congress and cadre's unrest, an age old matter.Under the part of its hidden agenda, the channel is telecasting these kind of programs", they said.
